Description

The Stayve Dermawhite Exfoliating Gel is a synergy of non-aggressive alpha hydroxy acids (AHAs) that clears away lipids binding dead skin cells together, effectively unblocking sebaceous glands and cleaning the pores.

​Unlike harsh physical scrubs that cause micro-tears, this gel utilizes an advanced combination of Mandelic Acid and Shikimic Acid. This chemical mechanism targets dermis fibroblasts—the cells responsible for generating structural proteins—to stimulate fresh collagen and elastin production. It noticeably smooths out skin texture, fades surface hyperpigmentation, and stops transepidermal water loss (TEWL) to keep the skin matrix deeply hydrated. It is universally recognized as the essential pre-treatment prep to ensure BB Glow pigments or booster serums penetrate uniformly rather than clinging to dry patches.

How To Use

Because this is an active acid gel, the key to success is following the strict skin-type timer and avoiding physical friction.

1. Cleanse & Tone

Thoroughly cleanse the skin with Stayve Mild Cleansing Milk and prep with Stayve Hydrating Rose Stayve Hydrating Rose Toner. Ensure the skin is completely dry before applying the acid.

2. Apply a Thick Layer

Using a professional aesthetic facial brush, paint a thick, even layer of the Exfoliating Gel across the face, neck, and décolleté. Strictly avoid the sensitive eye and lip boundaries. Do not massage or rub the gel into the skin.

3. Monitor the Timer

150°C (Metaphorical heat control)

Leave the gel on the face strictly according to the client's specific skin tolerance:

Sensitive or Dry Skin: Up to 2 minutes maximum.

Normal Skin: Up to 3 minutes maximum.

Oily or Thick Skin: Up to 5 minutes maximum.

(Note: A mild tingling sensation and slight flushing are completely normal reactions as the acids activate).

4. Wipe & Deactivate

Transition to Neutralizer

Gently remove the bulk of the gel using an aesthetic spatula, then thoroughly wipe the face clean with cool, damp sponges or a wet cotton compress. Immediately follow up with Stayve Neutralising Foam Stayve Neutralising Foam to fully stop the acid action.
Ingredients

​Mandelic Acid: Derived from bitter almonds; has a larger molecular size that penetrates the skin slowly and evenly, minimizing surface irritation while aggressively targeting discoloration.

​Shikimic Acid: Extracted from star anise; provides antimicrobial defense and dual-action exfoliation while retaining moisture deep within the tissue layers.

​Phytic Acid: A gentle antioxidant AHA that breaks down surface impurities and neutralizes free radicals.
Storage & Precautions

Storage Guidelines

​Keep Cool & Dark: Store the 290ml bottle at stable room temperature, away from direct sunlight, open windows, or moisture-heavy environments.

​Seal Air-Tight: Tighten the cap or lock the pump mechanism completely after every application. Air exposure can alter the concentration and efficacy of the active organic acids.

​Child Safety: Store securely out of the reach of children.

Important Precautions

​Do Not Mix Exfoliants: Never combine this gel with other intense physical scrubs, chemical peels, or dermaplaning procedures in the same treatment window unless specified by a certified protocol.

​Avoid Broken or Damaged Skin: Do not apply over active weeping acne, fresh lacerations, bleeding skin, or open lesions.

​Adverse Reaction Protocol: If a client experiences an immediate, intense burning sensation, hives, or extreme swelling, wipe the gel off instantly with cool water, neutralize thoroughly, and seek medical or dermatological care if symptoms persist.

​Ocular Guard: Keep away from eyes. If contact occurs, flush immediately and continuously with sterile saline or clean, cool water.

​External Boundary: This is an epidermal cosmetic solution. It must never be injected.
